Between June and August in 2002, I undertook an extensive trip around western Europe and Scandinavia. I photographed cities, scenery, art treasures, churches, cathedrals, and ancient ruins. These photographs were all taken with a high quality Lumix landscape digital camera with a very good German made Leica lens. They have been carefully selected from over 6,800 images, and reduced to screen size from high resolution originals. Here is a collection of over 2,000 full-screen original photographs ideal for desktop pictures, screen savers, school projects, viewing on your computer or DVD player, to remind you of where you used to live, or to help you decide where you would like to travel to next. Many of these photos would be ideal as backdrops for digital renderings using software such as Poser. Museums and palaces including: British Museum, Museum of London, Tower Bridge Experience, Science and Natural History Museums London, Louvre and Musee d'Orsay Paris, Chateau Versailles, Schonbrunn Palace in Vienna, the Vatican Museum in Rome, Frederiksborg Castle in Denmark, and many other museums, castles, interesting old buildings, and villages. Places of worship including: St. Peter's in the Vatican City, St. Paul's Outside the Wall in Rome, Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, ornate churches in Lucerne and Innsbruk, St. Stephen's cathedral in Vienna, Cologne Cathedral, stave churches in Norway, and many rural churches all over western Europe. (I have sold copies of this photoCD to people from all over the world, including several travel companies.) Royalty free for non-commercial use.
