Woodford Folk Festival

Every year the Woodford Folk Festival is held over the New Year holiday, near Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. On the final night the closing ceremony involves a spectacular open air theatrical experience involving fire... Here are some images from the event on New Year's Day 2005. In all I took over 650 hi-res photos using a quality digital camera. Many of these images were behind the scenes looks at the creation of the fire sculptures, lanterns and the people behind the staging of the event. A video with three camera angles was also made of the event. Here you may see some of the images from the fire event itself and the behind the scenes preparations.
